Valerie wanted to play in the snow on her birthday. So we went up to Bryce Canyon on Thursday afternoon and stayed at Ruby's Inn. The snowpack was thin, hard, and crusty. Not much good for play. But, we went for a nice walk as the sun set. The next morning we went for a hike in Red Canyon, on the Dixie. Again, the snow was crusty, but the hiking was good.
